Through TransMet® packaging materials’ processes, only 7gsm weight added compared with film laminations & foil laminations, which at least 20gsm weight added on base paper.

1)Reduce 100% plastic film(fossil fuels)usage on packaging.

Plastic film mainly made of fossil fuels, it is generally believed that fossil fuels is a finite resource.

Film laminations with at least 20gsm weight added because of 12/15U plastic film laminated on base paper while TransMet® packaging materials with 0% plastic film on finished packaging.

2)Reduce 99.5% aluminum foil(mineral resource)usage on packaging.

Aluminium foil is a metal which made of mineral, it is generally believed that mineral is a finite resource.

Foil laminations with at least 20gsm weight added because of 6/6.5 micron aluminum foil layer laminated on base paper while TransMet® packaging materials only vacuum metallized with 30 nanometer thickness aluminum layer on finished packaging.

 

Check how thin is TransMet® metallic layer:

Overall at least 65% finite resource(fossil fuels & mineral)saved (7gsm vs 20gsm) if choose TransMet® packaging materials.
